Hi! Thanks for reading my profile. Where to start? Well... I've been single for three years and would like to spend time with someone who would enjoy sharing what the Cities have to offer as well as exploring things beyond that magical boundary of 494/694!. I would eventually like to be in a long-term relationship again with someone who wants to share the journey and help each other along the way...someone who touches my heart and my spirit and feels that I do the same for them. I am looking for serious relationship in which both of us would be invested and engaged and we would each become a part of each other's network of friends and family. I have one kid but understand the commitment of time and energy they require. I'm also happy in the role of uncle and cousin, and whether it's Lego space shuttles or Disney princess fashion shows, I'm good to go. Being active and enjoying nature are important to me. I enjoy running, hiking, and biking. Glacier National Park last year was amazing. I just ran my first marathon (Twin Cities), and both the training and the race were great experiences! (OK -- maybe I wasn't thinking that at mile 23...) Let's see...music...yes, I do have a soft spot for late 70's and early 80's pop. I just discovered an all-ABBA station on iTunes...I think my neighbors hate me. Wink

Actually, I like all types of music other than heavy metal and rap. From Jazz at the Dakota to live bands at the Stone Arch Bridge Festival to Orchestra Hall, I enjoy it all. I've gotten into Green Day lately...hmmm - Green Day, Abba, Orchestra Hall...guess that illustrates I like variety. Smile

I love animals. Had to say goodbye this year to my 12-1/2 year-old yellow lab Charlie this spring. I miss him dearly. I know a little German...he's sitting right over there. (Sorry -- but if you know the reference, you know I like silly movies.) Seriously, I do speak a little German and have been told by friends from Germany that all I need is practice -- and what better place to practice than Germany! Sometime soon, I hope. Would love to visit relatives in Holland whom I've yet to meet, too. And speaking of movies, I enjoy everything other than horror flicks. Just never got into them. What else...love great conversation and exploring new ideas and perspectives. Nothing like sitting outside and enjoying a great Saturday or Sunday morning coffee conversation.
